•Any teaching that changes the foundation of the Gospel of Christ is deception. Examples include: —Salvation without repentance; —Grace without holiness; —Prosperity without godliness;—Christianity without the cross, sacrifice or suffering.
•Apostle Paul places a curse on anyone who preaches a false doctrine or another gospel - Galatians 1:1-10.A true apostle is known and identified by his doctrines and His ability to keep the essence of the gospel of salvation.
The term "accursed" or "anathema" (Greek) means —Devoted to destruction;—Placed under God's judgment and;—Severed, cut off or separated from Christ.—Excommunicated from the church.

•False teachers often preach messages that people want to hear rather than what God has revealed. This feeds the flesh instead of the spirit (2 Timothy 4:3-4, Isaiah 30:9-10 NLT).
 
•You must be very careful because such teachers will increase your appetite for the sin. Their teachings seem to magnify the flesh and abase the spirit. They normalize sin, worldliness, immorality, bitterness, rebellion, or compromise (2 Timothy 3:1-9 NLT).

1. False Teachers teach Damnable Heresies in Private even though they may seem to teach truth in public.
What is a Heresy? Doctrines, opinions and beliefs contrary or opposite to widely accepted truths.They will teach things that seem to deny the Lord that died on the cross to redeem or save them. The results is that, such people will bring Swift Destructions to themselves - 2 Peter 2:1 (KJV, GNT)
2. False Teachers have large followings even in their Error.
Don’t ever think that false prophets or teachers will not have anyone following them or few people at that. No, they have many people who will love them dearly in their errors - 2 Peter 2:2 (KJV, GNT).

Deception is half truth and half lies. So in an attempt to receive the truth, you swallow the lies. A little truth quoted with massive lies is deceptive and misleading. 
A false teacher is a person who claims to teach God’s truth but instead promotes doctrines, practices, or lifestyles that contradict the Word of God and lead people away from Christ.
False teachers may appear sincere, spiritual, knowledgeable, or even perform impressive works, but their teachings and conduct are contrary to biblical truth - Mathew 7:15

3. Tolerance of Sin. Calling evil good and black, white. No repentance, casual attitude toward sin - Isaiah 5:20,21,23, Galatians 5:9.

To wander, to walk or move in a leisurely or aimless way.•Deception causes you to wander:•Wandering mean to walk about aimlessly;•Wandering is to move slowly from a fixed point, plan or place to nowhere in particular.•Wandering is also to walking out of the perfect will of God into your own will which is fueled by the lust of your flesh.

False worship, prayerlessness, lukewarm or cold Christianity, rituals not relationship kind of Christianity.(Revelation 2:4, Mathew 2412).•Compromise with the Worldliness. Entertainment replacing consecration, love of fame, materialism. The church begins to imitate, copy or follow the world in values, fashion, pride and pleasures of the world. Most of the church today are speaking worldly language (Romans 12:2).
