They were in the world, yet was not of the world and influenced the world at the same time; Secondly, they were a Unique people with a Strong desire to follow God's truth;Finally, the people of Berea certainly placed Great importance on their Belief System.The scriptures enjoins all Christians to study the word of God. The word ‘study’ is the Greek word “Spoudazo” which means to hasten, hurry, be quick or to use speed. In Acts 17 verse 20 to 30, gives a prolific accounts on Apostle Paul's encounter with the Athenians altar dedicated to, "The Unknown God". He observed that , though the people were religious but do not know the God they were serving.
