Complacency can be considered a sin because it involves a sense of self-satisfaction and a lack of motivation to improve or grow. When we Christian becomes complacent, we become content with our status quo and stop striving for excellence or progress in our walk with God and in most cases, we tend to judge others thinking we are better off than them. But there are several levels in the spirit one can obtain that is why it's important for us Christians to rely absolutely on God.

The Dimension of The Holy Spirit as Water
