To watch is not to look without any distraction for a period of time. But much more than mere looking is to stay awake and also to pray. Vision is spiritual foresight or the ability to see into the spirit realm or see that which is to come.

PRAYER OR WATCHINGS THAT GAVE BIRTH TO VISIONS

1. Prayer is the Birthing Place of Visions. Prayer gives rise to visions. Whiles you are in prayer, you are being molded and shaped to manifest the vision God has ordained for you - Acts 9:10-12 2. If you desire to catch a vision for your life, you must stand in the place of prayer. In the place of prayer, Nehemiah became the solution to the entire Nation of Israel by becoming the one caught the vision to rebuild the broken walls.
