Sēmeion I: Deception, Satan’s Greatest Weapon

Sēmeion is Greek word for ‘Sign’ which means the following:

•A mark by which a person is distinguished from others and is known;

•An unusual occurrence that surpasses or goes beyond the normal course of nature;

•An indicator or warning that a remarkable event will happen soon and;

•A sign can be miracles and wonders by which God authenticates the men sent by him, or by which men prove that the cause they are pleading is God's.

For example:
A. The fact that Jesus Christ was the Son of God was proven several times by signs and wonders amongst the people — Acts 2:22
B. Even the Roman Soldiers believed Jesus was the Son of God after they crucified Him because of the signs they saw - Mathew 27:50-54

WHAT IS DECEPTION?
1. To cause to stray, to lead astray, lead aside from the right way.
•Once saved forever saved
•A Christian cannot sin
•Jesus paid for all your sin so there is no way you won’t go to heaven because of sins etc.
